Technical Specifications
Product Summary
MetrixSlide MS-BBR-1U2U-80 rails use a ball-bearing sliding mechanism and screw-mounted installation in standard 19-inch racks. They are intended for 1U to 4U server chassis 436–439 mm wide. The rail is available in a two-section and a three-section configuration, and both are rated 80 kg per pair; a test report has not been issued for this figure. Rail length and extension travel can be customized. The material is galvanized steel sheet or electroplated cold-rolled steel, confirmed for the selected configuration. Confirm the mounting dimensions against your chassis drawing before ordering.
Product Details

Ball-bearing sliding mechanism
The ball-bearing telescopic structure gives sliding access for compatible rack-mount server chassis. Select the rail configuration and travel to suit the equipment depth and the access you need. Final travel and dimensions are defined by the selected configuration.

Two-section and three-section options
Choose between a two-section and a three-section configuration. Both are rated 80 kg per pair. Their geometry, closed length and travel differ, so select the configuration against your drawings and access requirements.

Screw-mounted installation
The rails are screw-mounted. Chassis attachment points and rack interfaces must match the selected rail drawing. Share the equipment drawing or clear mounting photos so we can review the interfaces.

Configuration and customization
Rail length and extension travel can be customized. The material is galvanized steel sheet or electroplated cold-rolled steel, specified for the selected configuration. Additional hole patterns, plate thickness, branding or packaging requirements are reviewed separately by engineering.

FAQ
What is the load capacity of the MS-BBR-1U2U-80?
80 kg per pair, for both the two-section and the three-section configuration. A test report has not been issued for this figure, so tell us the total equipment weight and how the equipment is serviced.
What chassis does it fit?
1U to 4U server chassis 436–439 mm wide in standard 19-inch racks. Mounting dimensions are confirmed against the chassis drawing.
What is the difference between the two-section and three-section configuration?
The number of sliding members, which changes the available travel. Tell us the service access you need and we recommend the configuration.
How is it installed?
It is screw-mounted. If you want tool-less mounting with ball-bearing travel, look at the MS-TLS-120.
Can the length and travel be customized?
Yes. Rail length and extension travel can be customized, with the dimensions confirmed on the drawing.
My equipment is heavier than 80 kg. What should I use?
The MS-TLS-120 has a specified capacity of 120 kg per pair, and the MS-BBR-180 a nominal capacity of up to 180 kg per pair.
What are the MOQ and sample lead time?
Sample quantity and order quantity are agreed with the project. For a customized version, sample pairs are typically ready 15 to 20 days after drawing approval. Samples are quoted with the project.
Need ball-bearing rails for a 1U to 4U chassis?

From first conversation to installed rails in eight steps
The same process for a standard kit or a fully custom rail: you send the inputs, we return drawings, samples prove the fit, then we build the full order and support installation.
- 01
Discuss your requirements
Application, server type, quantities and timeline. An engineer joins the first conversation.
- 02
Send chassis & rack parameters
Chassis drawing or model, width and depth, mounting features, rack post distance and load.
